Ask AI sends your database type, table and column names with their types, and your prompt. Never rows. The SQL lands in the editor and runs only when you run it.
What is Safe Mode in QueryGlow?
Safe Mode is the query guard for the Query Editor and for AI agents. DROP DATABASE and server file or command execution are always blocked. DROP TABLE, TRUNCATE, dropping indexes, views, sequences and schemas, and DELETE or UPDATE without WHERE are blocked by default. A read without LIMIT gets LIMIT 1000. On a connection marked production, the Query Editor also asks before any INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE or DDL runs. TablePlus has its own safe mode levels that warn or ask for a password before queries.
